Onyx is a variety of Chalcedony and occurs in many different shades of black, brown, red and yellow. Because of its layering, Onyx was given the Greek name Onux- Onyx, which means nail. Its historical roots go back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, where it was very popularly used for statues and vessels, medallions and mosaics, where its semi-translucency is still used in interiors for decorative purposes today. It is a stone that gives strength. It provides support in difficult or confusing situations as well as in periods of emotional or physical stress. Onyx offers a connection with the unity of the universe, brings vigor, endurance and life force. It focuses our energy in one direction and allows us to become masters of our destiny. It provides lessons from the past, increases self-confidence and self-control, heals old traumas affecting current life, reduces fear and anxiety. It is a silent stone, a confidential advisor.

The construction of the jewelry is handmade from surgical steel and the connecting material is an alloy of tin and silver. The jewelry is then treated similarly to silver - we polish it once in a while. The more the jewelry is worn, the better, it polishes itself on clothes, the wearer's skin, etc. The metal is stable and does not contain nickel or heavy metals. The jewelry can be worn constantly, even in water, but it is good to dry it afterwards and treat it more often. The jewelry is hung on a braided, cotton cord and secured with an enlargement knot.
